Dynamic Leadership Opportunity:

This is a fixed-term role requiring operational leadership and support to a team of professionals working within information sharing schemes.

The successful candidate will provide an escalation point and guidance on information processes and practices in line with relevant protocols, ministerial guidelines, and legislative requirements.

The core focus areas include:

  • Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme
  • Child Information Sharing Scheme
  • Information Sharing Protocol between Courts and DFFH Child Protection
  • Information Sharing Protocol between Courts and the Family and Federal Courts of Australia
  • National Strategic Framework for Information Sharing between the Family Law Court and family violence and child protection systems

Stakeholders will work closely together to develop effective strategies and enhance information sharing, resulting in improved outcomes.

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the safety and wellbeing of people across Victoria, making tangible impacts through quality services delivery.

A comprehensive understanding of legislation and policies related to information sharing, particularly in the context of family violence and child protection, is crucial for this position.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, are required for building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.

Experience working in government or similar sectors is highly valued, as well as knowledge of local government structures and community engagement strategies.

A passion for improving service delivery, contributing to positive change, and promoting the safety and wellbeing of people across Victoria is essential.

Able to work independently and collaboratively, providing guidance and expertise to others, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective information sharing strategies and enhancing collaboration between teams.

Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in a dynamic work environment are key qualities for success in this role, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
