**Job Overview**

Global Retail Brands Australia is seeking a dynamic Merchandise & Demand Planner to join its planning team. As a key member of the commercial operations department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing demand and merchandise planning strategies across multiple sales channels.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop, maintain, and refine short- and long-term demand and merchandise plans based on historical data, sales trends, promotions, market intelligence, and seasonality.
  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) frameworks to support inventory investment decisions, budget alignment, and margin optimisation.
  • Partner closely with international retail and wholesale partners to ensure alignment of stock availability, forecast expectations, and replenishment cadence.
  • Deliver channel-specific planning across e Commerce and physical retail, ensuring SKU assortment and forecasting meet differing consumer behaviours and fulfilment models.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in merchandise & demand planning, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to create and execute financial and merchandise plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience recommending or implementing merchandise planning systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
