Senior Strategic Planner

We're looking for a Senior Strategic Planner to deliver a community infrastructure blueprint—identifying what's needed, how it should be delivered, and setting the vision for years to come. You'll drive the strategic report from start to finish, work closely with stakeholders, and provide expert advice to the planning team on day-to-day enquiries.
What you'll do:
- Lead the creation of a suburb-wide infrastructure strategy.
- Identify needs, delivery models, and priorities.
- Engage with the community and stakeholders to get it right.
- Support the team with planning advice and enquiries.
About You
You're a seasoned strategic planner who thrives on turning complex challenges into clear, actionable plans. With a strong background in local government or consultancy, you know how to blend policy, data, and community insight into practical solutions that actually get delivered. You're equally comfortable buried in research as you are in front of a stakeholder group, and you can explain planning concepts in a way that makes sense to everyone—whether they're a councillor, a community member, or a fellow planner. Detail-oriented yet big-picture focused, you're proactive, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in how a community grows and thrives.
