Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Bakery Store Leader to join our Rochedale store in South Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bakery department, creating rosters, generating orders, and ensuring accurate stock takes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a small team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
- Create efficient rosters and schedules to meet business demands, considering employee availability and skill sets.
- Generate accurate orders and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent losses.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Fresh food retail knowledge and experience, preferably with a background in bakery management.
- Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with team members and management.
- A flair for merchandising and visual display, with a focus on creating an appealing shopping environment.
- A commitment to work health and safety standards, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Attractive salary package, including a competitive base salary of $65,000 - $70,000 per annum.
