Seasonal Bakery Assistant at Costco Wholesale

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our bakery team as a Seasonal Assistant. This role is available from November to January, with varying hours per week.

About the Role
  • As a Seasonal Bakery Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, maintaining product knowledge of bakery items, and ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • You will also be involved in moving product-filled oven racks, un-traying product from baking pans onto packaging, and garnishing baked goods according to item requirements.
  • Other duties include scaling finished product, recording on weight verification sheets, packaging and wrapping baked goods by hand or using a wrapping machine, and assisting with monthly inventory.
Requirements
  • Heavy lifting is required in this role, so you must be physically capable and willing to perform tasks that involve manual labor.
  • You will work a rotating roster, including AM, PM, and weekend shifts, so flexibility is essential.
  • It is essential to follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines for cleaning and sanitation, as well as comply with Costco policies for Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all Safety training required by the warehouse and department.
