About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced horticultural professional to lead our team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • The successful candidate will follow established schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of horticulture requirements, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • You will be responsible for conducting hands-on work including pruning and shaping of shrubs and hedges, plant and pest identification, and regular inspections of garden areas to assess their condition and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens is essential.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role with proven ability to effectively prioritize workflows and manage your time.
  • A driver's licence and White Card are also required.
  • Chem Cert is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to excel in this role.
