Job Description
As a seasoned cost estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for diverse infrastructure and construction projects. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing project-specific RFT documentation, design drawings, and specifications to compile accurate cost assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality cost estimates with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analyze RFT documentation, scope of works, drawings, and project-specific specifications to identify key cost components.
  • Conduct thorough material take-offs, labor, plant, and equipment cost assessments to inform your estimates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers/subcontractors to gather information and insights that inform your cost-based estimates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a construction estimator in the NSW/Australian market.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex project documentation, including RFTs, designs, and specifications.
  • Experience in preparing detailed cost-based estimates for large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of AS/NZS 5131 and TfNSW specifications B201 (CC2/CC3).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
