Residential Construction Specialist

  • Key responsibilities include auditing building costs, reconciling provisional allowances within building contracts, and ensuring financial transparency throughout this process.

A key leader in the operations team, you will play a crucial role in setting new standards in residential construction. Your focus will be on:

  • Supporting project profitability and client satisfaction by reviewing detailed cost estimates and resolving any oversights.
  • Analyzing actual building costs against initial budgets and identifying variances.
  • Updating cost databases and benchmarking data to reflect current market rates.
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to verify costs and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Producing regular cost reports and variance analyses for sales estimating to manage tender allowances.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of estimates, quotes, invoices, and reconciliations.
  • Supporting the preparation of final accounts and project closeout documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve estimating accuracy and cost control processes.
