The role of a Junior Systems Analyst is a key position in an organization that deals with the analysis and design of computer systems. This job requires a deep understanding of technology and its applications, as well as strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and documentation of business and user requirements for development of custom technical solutions.
  • Identification, assessment, testing and deployment of functional solutions to enhance reporting and operations.
  • Diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and prevention of escalations.
  • Proactive identification and/or participation in continuous improvement business initiatives.
  • Providing IT application support, continuous improvement and delivering updates to maintain software systems.
  • Improvement and driving consistent practices, business processes and procedures to ensure applications support consistency.
  • Development of reporting infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Development and review of system training documents.
  • Assistance with training the team and provision of ongoing support for software systems.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining curated systems and reports using Power Platform Apps, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and Power Pages.
  • Strong command of MS Office 365 tools, especially MS Excel, for complex data analysis, ETL of large datasets, scripting, reporting and automation.
  • Proven skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and translation of business rules to technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Strong foundation in programming and functional expression languages to develop and maintain automation procedures, complex data pipelining and data visualization.
