Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

About the Role:

The Business Systems Analyst captures functional and technical requirements to support Future Energy Programs of work.

Liaising with stakeholders, facilitating conversations, and documenting requirements for web applications and functionality are key responsibilities.

  • Support release management for production changes, including scheduling, communications, implementation, and post-verification testing.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create and maintain accurate user stories, documentation, and testing activities.
  • Maintain the quality and performance of applications in the production environment, providing feedback to ensure the right tools and processes are in place.
  • Contribute to change management lifecycle, from planning through to implementation, including collaboration across functional areas of the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, Python, ReactJS, and Tableau.
  • Proven experience in a business-critical data and analytics environment with a background in data and web development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and experience with ITSM tools.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
