We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Systems Engineer and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a federal government department, helping to make a positive impact on the lives of Australians.

About the Role

This is a contract role with an initial duration to June 2024, with extensions expected. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting staff and systems through a large migration and uplift project. You will also be involved in developing, managing, and rolling out Standard Operating Environments (SOEs), as well as providing general IT support.

The ideal candidate will have experience with system migrations in Microsoft environments, SCCM/MECM development and delivery, Windows application packaging, and good Active Directory knowledge, including Azure. PowerShell experience and virtualised environment skills are also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting users during the migration process
  • Developing, managing, and rolling out SOEs

  • General IT support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance. While not essential, relevant qualifications or certifications in areas such as Microsoft technologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity would be advantageous.
