Job Title: Field Service Technician

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing Volvo equipment to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Technical expertise in CE operations with ability to perform on-site servicing and repairs in the field
  • Carrying out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a professional and timely manner
  • Valid HV truck and forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team when required
  • Effective communication skills with customers to ensure all interactions are respectful and honest
  • Ability to write reports and maintain daily records from the field
  • Warranty procedures to be followed at all times, ensuring failed parts are correctly labelled and warranty reports are submitted satisfactorily
  • Experience using computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues
  • Availability after hours and some weekends (with penalty rates applied)
  • Organized and self-motivated individual with commitment to abide by company and client HSE policies and procedures
