Job Title: Performance and Training Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves supporting Area Managers in identifying and addressing regional performance gaps.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including team members and leaders across multiple sites.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting Area Managers in identifying and addressing regional performance gaps
  • Upskilling and mentoring teams to build capability and promote best practice
  • Reviewing compliance obligations and assisting in internal auditing processes
  • Driving accountability and achievement of performance metrics in line with contract benchmarks
  • Supporting the onboarding and induction of new team members
  • Collaborating with leaders on data analysis and contributing to performance strategy
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Maintaining and developing strong knowledge of program requirements and internal procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Performance-driven experience with a strong track record of achieving KPIs in employment services
  • Leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to coach, guide and support teams across multiple sites
  • Operational acumen, with knowledge of Inclusive Employment Australia benchmarks, compliance standards and internal performance frameworks
  • Analytical and solutions-focused skills, with the ability to identify gaps and implement improvement strategies
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organisational and adaptable skills, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Minimum qualification at VET Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a frontline or leadership role within Employment Services
  • Current driver's licence and access to reliable transport, as some travel between sites is required
  • Demonstrated history of achieving performance outcomes
