Environmental Advisor Role

As an Environmental Advisor within the Sustainability team, your overarching goal will be to uplift the environment and social governance profile of the company both internally and externally. This will be done by supporting sustainable projects within our operation and regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge base to support sustainable mining and environmental stewardship
  • Develop plans to help site implementation and compliance to our policies and standards
  • Ensure operations and projects operate at a high standard and achieve sustainable outcomes for our people, planet, process and profit
Requirements
  • A degree in Sustainability, Earth Sciences, Communications, Governance or Risk completed within the last three years
  • Work experience on a mine site or regional vegetation management highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with data management and GIS software
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule work
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid analytical skills and attentiveness to detail
  • Manual driver's license
