Sustainability Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to drive the execution of our Sustainability Strategy and ensure alignment with organisational targets. This role will be based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead and implement our Sustainability strategy.
  • Oversight of local execution of Group-wide strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive change.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to review holistic performance and align project plans.
About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the local execution of the Groups Lindt & Sprüngli Sustainability Plan. You will identify opportunities for further development within the local business and share progress on the sustainability roadmap with the Executive team and Decarbonisation Steering Committee.

You will educate functional leaders to drive behavioural change required to support the sustainability agenda. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the sustainability strategy and ensuring alignment with group targets.
  • Identifying opportunities and areas for further development within the local business.
  • Sharing progress on the sustainability roadmap with the Executive team and Decarbonisation Steering Committee.
  • Educating functional leaders to drive behavioural change.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within the sustainability field.
  • Previous experience successfully leading projects.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and highly self-motivated.
  • Superior organisational skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in sustainability or a related field.
