Experience Required: A Floor Supervisor Position

The Venue, Bar 83 at Sydney Tower, is a renowned bar situated on the 83rd floor. With an unparalleled view of the city, this establishment offers a modern lounge experience in a unique setting.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within the venue. Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, your primary role involves managing staff levels, delivering effective employee training and providing exceptional customer service to all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations by maintaining adequate staffing levels and conducting regular employee training sessions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through attentive service and prompt issue resolution.
  • Set high standards of professionalism and work ethic, serving as a positive influence among colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with the Venue Manager to drive business growth and development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar supervisory position.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure, resolving complex issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with wine and liquor knowledge, WHS procedures and cash handling practices.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
