Job Title

We are seeking a communications leader to drive stakeholder engagement and deliver communications strategies.

  • As a communications leader, you will oversee the implementation of communications activities and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • You'll develop content and engage with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies.

You'll lead our communications team, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment.

About the Role

This is a leadership role that requires exceptional communication skills and experience in managing complex projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage industry stakeholder engagement for Westport, ensuring effective relationships and smooth delivery of infrastructure initiatives.

Develop and implement an engagement strategy that builds partnerships and promotes transparency.

You'll guide our engagement team members, providing leadership and coaching, and fostering a supportive environment.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the transport or infrastructure sector.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Mastery of project management tools and software, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.

Candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret data and make informed decisions, will be highly valued.
