Overview

Senior Engagement Manager - Data Analytics & GenAI, Public Sector Professional Services - Data Analytics. The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) ANZ Data Analytics and GenAI team is seeking a highly skilled Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. You will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership to drive successful AWS-based implementations, bridging business requirements with technical solutions and aligning with customer outcomes.

You will apply AWS frameworks (Well-Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework) and demonstrate credibility across diverse stakeholders. You will distill customer needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade-offs considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact. You will validate technical solutions against business goals, manage technical risks, and progressively lead more complex projects while shaping cross-organizational strategies and best practices in your domain. You will communicate effectively to both technical and business audiences and maintain relevant AWS certifications as you develop domain-specific expertise.

Must hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
  • Coordinating technical decisions and strategic planning leveraging AWS knowledge
  • Bridging business requirements with technical solutions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes
  • Leading technical teams to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and actionable deliverables
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies to drive projects to successful completion
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex, large-scale project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • Must hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance
