As a leader in implementing tennis pathways, you will play a pivotal role in promoting inclusivity throughout Queensland. Your key responsibilities include delivering Diversity and Inclusion events, developing strategies to educate coaches, creating holistic plans for school-based competitions, managing school competitions, influencing coaches to increase junior players transitioning from schools to clubs and competitive pathways, and developing an Inclusion pathway for players across Queensland.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team of professionals working towards strategic objectives of tennis. You will be reporting to the Head of Coaching & Player Pathways and will be responsible for statewide implementation of tennis playing pathways for schools, diversity, and inclusion events. Your focus will be on building and supporting competitive play pathways in Queensland.

  • Lead the delivery of Tennis events that promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop educational strategies to enhance coach capabilities.
  • Create comprehensive plans for school-based tennis competitions.
  • Oversee all school competitions, including the Brisbane Tennis School Competition.
  • Influence coaches to increase junior player transitions from schools to clubs and competitive pathways.
  • Establish an inclusive pathway for players across Queensland, collaborating with stakeholders to implement competitive programs.
About You

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • A deep understanding of tennis and/or sports at various levels.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for one-on-one and public speaking engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
  • Skill in managing operations and thinking strategically.
  • Alignment with our organization's values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration, and Imagination.
  • A current Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
