Job Description:
The role of a Procurement Specialist is to support the procurement activities across a portfolio of regional projects and contracts. This involves managing sourcing, purchasing, and contracting activities, as well as supporting the development and execution of procurement plans aligned with project goals.
Maintaining compliance with procurement policies and systems is crucial in this role. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and delivery teams is also essential for successful project execution.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in construction, energy, or utilities. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office is required.
A strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Additionally, a detail-oriented, proactive mindset and the ability to juggle competing priorities are key qualities for this position.
