Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned supply chain expert to oversee the strategic direction and operational efficiency of our supply chain operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize stock movements, ensuring high service levels and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage warehouse and inventory operations, focusing on accuracy, space optimization, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with commercial, industrial, and technical teams to proactively address inventory issues and propose process improvements.
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and driving performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and implement operational processes, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and leading initiatives to reduce costs and enhance service levels.
  • Oversee logistics vendors by resolving issues promptly and implementing performance management metrics.
Requirements:
  • Hold a university degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, including logistics, customer service, and inventory control.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills, with proven ability to coach, motivate, and drive team performance.
  • Exhibit strong communication and coordination skills, working well with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Certification in supply chain management or a related field.
