Job Title

A Support Worker is required to work with young people who have experienced trauma or require high levels of support. You will be part of a team that provides specialist care and support to help these young people thrive.

About the Role

This role involves working with young people in our care, providing them with robust, consistent, trauma-informed care. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, curious, and able to engage with young people in a supportive, age-appropriate way.

Requirements
  • You should hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • You should have significant, relevant experience working with young people, particularly those who have experienced trauma or require high levels of support.
  • If you don't yet hold a qualification, you should be willing to work towards it as part of the role (with support and funding provided).
  • You should be resilient and able to manage challenging behavior such as severe physical aggression, verbal aggression, sexualized behavior, CSE and CCE vulnerabilities, self-harm, and absconding.
  • You should be flexible and able to work a varied shift pattern, including day shifts, waking nights, and sleep-ins.
