Electrical Systems Technical Specialist

At Talison Lithium, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Systems Technical Specialist to join our team at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide advanced technical support across electrical systems and infrastructure within our fixed plant mining operation. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with all site safety standards and company regulations;
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize plant availability;
- Providing hands-on support during breakdowns to assist in rapid equipment recovery and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR);
- Executing or guiding complex repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure safe and reliable operation;
The incumbent should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- WA A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory);
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician;
- High Voltage Switching ticket (preferred);
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills on low and high voltage systems;
- Sound understanding of electrical standards, including AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 4836;
