Job Role: Data Insights Specialist
About the Team:
The Ageing and Aged Care Services division aims to deliver high-quality programs that cater to the needs of older Australians. Our team works closely with the Health State Network and other key areas across Health to provide effective support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a skilled data analyst to join our team, responsible for analyzing health and aged care datasets using R and Teradata SQL.
- Our ideal candidate will also be able to undertake economic modelling to support data-driven decisions and inform health outcomes for older Australians.
- Additionally, the selected candidate will assist with data analysis and interpretation to better understand clinical roles and responsibilities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, including R and SQL.
