Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Insights Specialist. This role involves providing data-driven insights, cost estimates, and evidence to inform key policy decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to work with large datasets, and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the Vocational Education and Training (VET) and apprenticeships sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing costs and budget estimates for policy proposals
  • Monitor and analyze government and private investment in the VET and apprenticeships sector
  • Produce regular reports for publication or briefings
  • Draft briefs, minutes, reports, and other documents with an understanding of data, policy, programs, legislative requirements, and system design
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate an understanding of their data needs

Requirements:

  • Qualifications or experience in data analysis, finance, or statistical modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
