As a Clinical Advisor, you will collaborate with clinical and operational team leaders to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough care needs assessments for individuals 65 and older, ensuring accurate identification of care requirements.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to assessors and staff members, promoting best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and supervise the senior clinical workforce, maintaining high standards of care and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for clinical matters, providing expert guidance and support to clients and staff.
  • Engage with clients to develop supportive care plans that cater to their unique needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing with current registration with AHPRA or a relevant professional association.
  • Current experience as an Aged Care Assessor and/or training qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher.
  • Minimum five years of experience in aged care settings, either in Australia or overseas.
  • Strong commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to engage with clients and empower them in their healthcare journey.
  • A dedicated professional who actively seeks improvements in nursing practice and is open to client feedback.
  • An individual who demonstrates leadership in clinically supervising and supporting team members.

Selection Criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in aged care.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
