Aged Care Services Professional

DPV Health is committed to providing exceptional aged care services, and we're seeking a Clinical Advisor to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing access and quality of care for seniors, working closely with clinical and operational team leaders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive care needs assessments for individuals 65 and older (or 50 and older for specific groups).
- Provide ongoing training and clinical support to assessors and other staff members.
- Manage and supervise the senior clinical workforce, ensuring high standards of care.
- Act as the primary contact for clinical matters, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage with clients to develop supportive care plans that promote independence and well-being.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing with current unrestricted registration with AHPRA or other relevant professional association.
- Current experience as an Aged Care Assessor and/or training qualifications (such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher in training and assessment) or bachelor's degree in education, or higher.
- Minimum five years of experience in aged care settings, either in Australia or overseas.
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and the latest evidence-based practices.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to engage with clients and empower them in their healthcare journey.
- A dedicated professional who actively seeks improvements in nursing practice and is open to client feedback.
- An individual who demonstrates leadership in clinically supervising and supporting both nursing and non-nursing team members.
About the Role:
This is a 2-year funded appointment with the possibility to extend. We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
