Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of food and beverage staff to provide efficient and friendly service to guests.
  • Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
  • Implement systems to maintain control of food service equipment, record breakages, and conduct regular stock takes.
  • Develop and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for food service areas to achieve high hygiene and cleaning standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
  • Maintain RSA certification and adhere to RSA principles.
  • Greet and welcome guests, assist with enquiries, and maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
  • Check ordered meals on collection from the kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance.
  • Assist with roster preparation, ensuring suitable and cost-effective employee levels are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Service-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Multicultural awareness and ability to work with diverse cultures.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, leadership, relationship, and networking skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet, with prior experience as a supervisor.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of various beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Micros knowledge desirable.
