Caregiver for People with Disabilities

Position Summary: Assist clients with daily living activities and provide transportation assistance, as well as respite care to clients and their families.
- Support clients with personal care tasks, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
- Transport clients to various locations, including appointments and social events.
- Provide temporary relief to clients and their families, ensuring their well-being and safety.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate 2 or 4 in individual support or willingness to work towards completion.
- Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disabilities.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work with diverse clients, adapting to their unique needs.
- Basic care and first aid skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with ability to learn new software quickly.
