Job Opportunity: Automotive Service Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced service lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department.

About This Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a service manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of technicians and advisors
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor and improve service department efficiency and productivity
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage Work In Progress and all aspects of warranty bookings and claims
  • Provide weekly management reports on all aspects of the service department
  • Ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records of service transactions and customer interactions
  • Handle customer escalations with professionalism and resolve any issues promptly
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a service manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A passion for cars and automotive technology
  • An understanding of dealership operations and processes
  • A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
