Goodstart Early Learning is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director to join our team at Goodstart Caulfield. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in inspiring and motivating our centre team to deliver high-quality early learning and care.
Job Description- Support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide exceptional early learning and care
- Mentor and develop capabilities within the centre team
- Assume overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
- Implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations
- Foster respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage with local community networks
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the centre, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for children and staff
- Develop and implement strategies to improve centre performance and achieve goals
- Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a larger team
