Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide electrical maintenance services in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of engineering tasks, including breakdown, preventative and reactive maintenance.

  • Provide timely and effective electrical maintenance to production and packaging machinery
  • Support the achievement of output targets across multiple engineering competencies, including estimating materials costs and quantities for fabrication and electrical components
  • Assist with the installation and relocation of associated equipment and machinery
  • Design, diagnose, repair and modify electrical installations and circuitry on cabling systems and motor control systems of electrical machinery and plant
  • Undertake shutdowns, breakdowns and maintenance within the operating manufacturing facility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical maintenance, including testing and calibrating equipment
  • Installation and relocation of equipment and machinery
  • Design and modification of electrical installations and circuitry
  • Provision of technical support to production teams

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification at the level of an Engineering/Trade Qualification and proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of various maintenance methods and the ability to investigate problems, determine and implement root cause corrections
