Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We're dedicated to delivering water, sewerage and recycled water services to our community. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of these services.

The Role

This Electrical Maintenance Specialist will provide technical direction and advice on electrical maintenance activities for our asset base, focusing on either water recycling plant facilities or water & sewer network facilities as directed by senior staff.

This role ensures that electrical maintenance works delivered by our industry partners meet appropriate technical and regulatory standards, and that our electrical asset information is complete, accurate and current.

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and direction to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that electrical maintenance requirements are properly implemented.
  • Maintaining electrical infrastructure, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level computer skills, including experience with Works Management Systems and creating technical spreadsheets.
  • Experience with asset registers, inventory management systems, procurement processes, contract management processes, business case development, technical report writing, and creating technical spreadsheets.

Your Qualifications

  • An Electrical trade qualification.
  • Significant experience in maintaining electrical infrastructure in the water and sewer industry.
