We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cellar Hand. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and a professional manner.

  • Tanker Unloading
  • Winery sanitation and cleaning
  • Wine racking/ transfers wine movements
  • Common winery additions (fining agents, acids, SO2 etc)
  • Barrel work and cellar operations
  • Solution preparation and maintenance

Experience in laboratory support is a bonus, particularly with wine analysis including pH, TA, FSO2, TSO2, FOSS analysis, Dissolved O2 and CO2, and record keeping.

Requirements:
  • Australian forklift license
  • Ability to work extended hours
  • Teamwork and time management skills
  • Awareness of workplace WHS issues and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
  • Good physical fitness
  • Responsibility and reliability
  • Good English language skills

Applicants must be Australian citizens/residents or hold a valid Australian work permit, as well as a valid driver's license. Work hours are Monday to Friday, day shift, in McLaren Vale.
