The Head Sommelier plays a pivotal role in elevating the wine experience for our discerning guests. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, this dynamic leader is responsible for crafting an exceptional wine list that showcases diverse varietals and unique terroirs.

Leading by example, the successful candidate will oversee cellar management, staff training, and wine service standards, ensuring impeccable presentation and delivery of every bottle.

This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of grape varietals, wine regions, and production methods. The ideal candidate will curate a wine list that not only impresses but also tells a story of the land, climate, and craftsmanship involved.

Ambitious and results-driven, the Head Sommelier will manage inventory, conduct tastings, and update the wine list regularly, staying abreast of industry trends and developments.

As a true connoisseur, the successful candidate will possess expertise in wine pairings, be able to advise on food and wine combinations, and have a deep understanding of wine etiquette.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate an exceptional wine list showcasing diverse varietals and unique terroirs

  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and ensure cellar organization
  • Manage inventory, conduct tastings, and update the wine list

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Head Sommelier in a high-end dining establishment
  • Demonstrated expertise in curating and managing a diverse wine program
  • Extensive knowledge of different grape varietals, wine regions, and production methods
  • Ability to maintain and update an extensive wine list
  • Experience in staff training and development
