Wine Production Assistant

Job Overview:

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality wine.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties related to wine production including crushing, fermentation management, addition of oak and other materials, clarification, pressing, racking and general winery hygiene.
  • Fully understand and comply with all mandatory winery procedures and Work Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a cellar or winemaking environment is essential.
  • A licence to operate heavy machinery (forklift) would be advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Australian citizenship or residency and a current driver's license are required.
