Job Title: Wine Analysis Specialist

Job Description:

As a wine analysis specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of products, particularly in the manufacturing industry.

You will be responsible for liaising with winemakers on additions and analysis for wine before, during, and post bottling.

  • Complete all required documentation for wine analysis and wine movements
  • Assist with the management of day-to-day operations of the laboratory
  • Maintain laboratory hygiene and keep the laboratory in a clean and tidy condition
  • Undertake general laboratory maintenance (cleaning, calibrations, and machine maintenance)
  • Assist with disgorging line and bottling line set up and QA checks
  • Ordering laboratory consumables as required
  • Assist in unloading/loading trucks/tankers as required
  • Monitor safety standards and ensure laboratory and cellar operations are conducted in accordance with WHS policy and safety requirements
  • Support the Quality/HACCP program

To succeed in this role, you will require relevant industry experience or tertiary qualification, knowledge of wine analysis and interpretation skills, strong understanding of general Cellar Hand procedures and duties, and at least 2 years' experience in the laboratory or as a cellar hand.
