About the Job

We are seeking a Production Planner to manage all planning activities, ensuring production targets are efficiently achieved in a safe and cost-effective manner.

  • Plan and schedule work for converting machines, analysing data on machine efficiencies and labour allocation.
  • Liaise with internal supply departments and customers, providing clear communications on delivery performance.
  • Troubleshoot unexpected issues and reschedule incomplete work into daily plans.
Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Managing all planning activities to ensure production targets are met.
  • Planning and scheduling work for converting machines.
  • Analysing data on machine efficiencies and labour allocation.
  • Liaising with internal supply departments and customers.
  • Troubleshooting unexpected issues.
  • Rescheduling incomplete work into daily plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Kiwiplan (desired but not essential) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Certificate IV or higher in Supply Chain Management (preferred).
  • Understanding of 'Just in Time' manufacturing principles.
