Job Title:

Corporate Trust Manager

This role is responsible for coordinating and managing timely and accurate trustee services for a portfolio of trusts. It includes corporate secretarial, director approvals, investor reporting, and corporate accounting services.

  • Service delivery and management of investment manager clients and funds
  • Daily operations to ensure operational excellence is maintained
  • Onboarding and integration of new clients and trusts, and offboarding of winding up schemes
  • Review of trust documents and setup of governance frameworks
  • Deal activity including acquisitions, divestments, capex, refinancing, capital calls, or other relevant matters
  • Monitoring service providers preparing trust accounts, tax returns, business activity statements, and investor reports
  • Overseeing service providers to ensure compliance with agreements, regulatory requirements, and laws
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintaining operating procedures and participating in system improvements
  • Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian recognized qualification in Accounting, Tax, or Law
  • 4-6 years of experience in a Legal, Accounting, Audit, Funds, or Governance role
  • Understanding of the Trustee role
  • Client management skills and relationship experience
  • Knowledge of managed funds and operational experience
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet expectations, and collaborate with others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with planning and organizational skills
  • Highly principled and able to resolve issues
