The role of a Trust Accounts Manager involves overseeing the day-to-day trust accounting processes in accordance with statutory requirements. This includes managing individual trust account ledgers, performing reconciliations, and processing reports.

This position requires a motivated and experienced professional with a minimum 5 years of trust accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Xero and Legal Practice Management Software, and have intermediate Excel skills. They must also be able to work autonomously, as well as within a team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day trust accounting processes
  • Recording receipts and payments to individual trust account ledgers
  • Performing trust account reconciliations
  • Processing trust to office transfers
  • Coordinating year-end trust audits
  • Receiving and reconciling trust and business accounts

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Law Firm Trust Accounting role
  • Proficient in using Xero and Legal Practice Management Software
  • Intermediate Excel skills
