Night Operations Manager

The Night Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the smooth running of our hotel's overnight operation, collaborating closely with the Night Leader to direct the Front Office Team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, adhering strictly to all protocols and ensuring outstanding levels of satisfaction for guests.
- Promote strong communication between the Night Team and other hotel departments, driving collaboration and excellence in service delivery.
- Effectively resolve guest complaints and challenges, providing timely and efficient solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
- Take responsibility for the night audit function alongside the Night Leader, ensuring accurate collation of income and revenue reporting.
- Monitor and control costs such as wages and expenses, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
- Own the process of setting, implementing, and reviewing service standards for the Night Team, driving continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
- A resilient and guest-focused individual who can tackle any challenge.
- A skilled communicator able to initiate conversations with guests and team members.
- Experience in a similar role or environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Proficiency in Fidelio or Opera PMS; hotSOS is highly preferred.
- A current valid RSA or ability to obtain.
- Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to work in Australia (full unrestricted working rights) – no sponsorship available for this position.
