About the Role:
">Northern Health is seeking motivated Registered Nurses to advance their careers with the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery at our Kilmore District Hospital. This fixed-term part-time position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Admission and discharge planning, assessing, caring, and advocating for birthing people and their families through their child birthing and new parenting journey">
- Supporting breastfeeding and mother-crafting">
- Working collaboratively with the obstetrics and gynaecology, social work, Koori maternity services, perinatal mental health, and physio teams">
A Day in the Life:
">The successful applicant will rotate across various midwifery areas, including postnatal ward, birth suite, antenatal clinic, and neonatal nursery. This will provide exposure to low, collaborative, and high-risk pregnancy care, as well as opportunities for clinical support and skill development.
