Youth Friendly Mental Health Professional

This exciting opportunity is designed to provide graduates with access to a comprehensive youth mental health training and development program.
The role includes discipline-specific clinical supervision as well as 40 days of funded professional training.
Our organization provides free services to young people in the areas of mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs, work and study.
The successful candidate will work within their scope of practice under the direction of the Centre Service Manager and/or Clinical Lead and Clinical Educator to provide comprehensive youth-friendly mental health services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive youth-friendly mental health services
- Conducting intakes with young people, community members, and professionals
To be eligible for this role you should have:
- Graduated within the past 12 months
- Hold one of the following qualifications:
- Psychologist with general registration or area of practice endorsement
- Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and certified by AASW
- Occupational Therapist with Better Access to Mental Health (BAMH) endorsement
- Registered Nurse with additional qualifications in mental health
You will also need to meet the following requirements:
- Valid Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience using MasterCare client records management software is desirable
