Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated mental health professional to provide focused psychological strategies to young people aged 12-25 years old with mild to moderate mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to young people under Medicare's Better Access initiative.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate electronic client records and data collection in-line with Medicare Australia and organizational guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including DHS Working with Children Check.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Must be a registered or clinical psychologist, accredited mental health social worker, or better access to mental health endorsed occupational therapist with a Medicare provider number.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.
  • Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
