Job Overview

The Communications and Patient Relations Manager is a pivotal role in ensuring impactful, patient-focused communications programs internally and externally.

This position supports brand teams to create, collaborate on, and execute strategic communications initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

- Develop patient-centric strategies with specific timelines and stakeholder responsibilities.

- Collaborate with brand teams to deliver key initiatives and support communications efforts.

- Oversee agency relationships, executing plans to deliver agreed outcomes.

- Define and monitor key performance indicators, proposing strategic adjustments as required.

- Contribute to country and global patient relations strategies, ensuring alignment with all brand communications.

- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders to advance patient-focused outcomes.

Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in communications or a related field.

- Several years' experience in communications and patient advocacy roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or related health sector.

Essential Skills & Abilities

- Ability to develop multi-channel communication and patient advocacy strategies.

- Strong skills in social and traditional media (proactive and reactive).

- Demonstrated experience in strategic stakeholder relations.

- Ability to tailor communications to diverse stakeholder groups, sensitive to diverse views and needs.

- Ability to project manage activities, act decisively, and ensure efficient use of resources.

- Knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
