Emergency Response Officer Role

The position of Emergency Response Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our operations. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing emergency response, injury management, and security services across our facility on a continuous shift basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain appropriate site emergency response in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Respond to all fire, rescue, and hazardous materials emergencies onsite
  • Undertake fire response and training activities
  • Provide first response medical care for work-related injuries
  • Operate and maintain an industrial health care center
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Health Care or Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations)
  • Current unrestricted Class C South Australian Driver's License
  • Current Security Agent license (South Australia) or ability to obtain
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
