Join our dedicated team at Hope Community Services as a Safety Advocate. This role is crucial in providing support and advocacy for women and children facing family violence, ensuring they receive a comprehensive and culturally safe support service.
Key Responsibilities- Receive referrals and conduct intake assessments to evaluate risk and needs.
- Develop, implement, and assess case management strategies tailored for women and their children.
- Build trust with clients through engagement and provide personalized support as necessary.
- Assist clients in maintaining their safety and well-being.
- Facilitate access to a broad range of information, services, and resources.
- Make seamless referrals to additional support services, both internal and external.
- Ensure all case management adheres to the Western Australian Family and Domestic Violence Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare verbal and written reports as required.
- A degree or diploma in Social Services is desirable, along with significant relevant experience.
- Possess cultural skills, knowledge, and established networks.
- Experience in working with family domestic violence (FDV) cases.
- Background in supporting both survivors of family violence and individuals who perpetrate violence.
- Experience with the Western Australian Family and Domestic Violence Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework.
