Junior Financial Analyst Job

This is a Junior Financial Analyst role with a leading construction company based in Australia.


Job Description:

The Junior Financial Analyst will support the finance function by maintaining accurate coding in Xero, keeping reconciliations up to date and assisting with BAS/IAS preparation and compliance calendars.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate finance operations
  • Prepare reports and forecasts
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

Required Skills:
  • Experience in accounting, finance or bookkeeping (construction or trades exposure is a bonus)
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero and Excel
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn job costing and project reporting
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Great communication skills, able to work with both office and site staff
