Delivering High-Quality Financial Reporting

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a skilled professional to join the Financial Services team as a Statutory Reporting Specialist. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in the Group Reporting team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including statutory results and Pillar 3 reports.
  • Collaborate with the Group Financial Controls team and CBA Group Business Unit finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement reporting process improvements, including automation and data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting and regulatory requirements, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
