Job Summary

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join the Group Reporting and Change team in Financial Services. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders, driving change initiatives, and supporting the team's continuous improvement agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality, value-add reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders, including semi-annual statutory results and financial automation transformation projects.
  • Support and lead the automation agenda for the team, including transformation of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Provide advisory support on reporting process improvements and related projects.
  • Assist with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables, including the Annual Report, Profit Announcement, and Pillar 3.
  • Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights, and deliver value-add analysis of the Group's statutory results to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a strong and vibrant team culture.
Requirements
  • Excellent commercial acumen and experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI and SQL.
  • Familiarity with working with large datasets and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Innovative and able to drive results.
